It’s actually like unplugged…or dinner show…’cos you can have a drink or have a meal while you listen to her sing…and it’s very close. Much closer than 明菜’s empress live…there were no barriers along the small stage…juz a piano and guitars…

Some highlights from the talk parts:
a) 岩崎宏美 is currently taking in requests for DEAR FRIENDS III, her series of cover albums (like Akina’s Utahime series), on her website.
b) She talked about Olympics on TV..that was her favourite…and she woke up late in the middle of the night to watch..
c) New Album, titled “Natural” to be released on 22nd Feb in stores.
d) 本田美奈子. She mentioned about 美奈子ちゃん during encore. She said that when we was at 羽田空港 in Jan , on the way to film her MV for ただ愛のためにだけ in 沖縄, she read from the news about 美奈子ちゃん’s illness…and she was extremely worried. She stressed that 美奈子ちゃん fought strongly against her illness…but 運命…
my personal comments on the singing parts:
I am not such a big fan of Hiromi, compared to Akina…but I do like her singing definitely. Interestingly, most of the songs she sang I had heard before. In my impression, I think I am most 感動 by 思秋期 & 聖母たちのララバイ, 2 of her most representative works. The other songs were good too…and also, one from her soon-released album, 友達の詩, this song is not bad…which will make me go buy her album when it is out~hehe.
Confidence is the word to describe the whole performance.
