Mesmerising!! No matter how many times I watch this. I don’t think Bjork was that famous already then, but I could be wrong.
The other singers must be gobsmacked because this is a mainstream star getting out of everyone’s comfort zone and doing something so risky, challenging and pulling it off. Speechless!
Totally agreed! Fushigi remains my top favorite Akina album of all times. It was in 1986, Akina was right at the cutting edge and so avant-garde at that time. Amazing!
I watched these video clips everyday, heaps of times. Never got bored! Akina was sensational in these performances! Spellbinding!

Jamez, Bjork was totally unknown then. She didn’t make her debut with her band, The Sugarcubes till 1988. I wonder what/who gave Akina the inspiration to do Fushigi in the first place.
