Here you go, guys. “Woman” was a special treat at the concert cos it’s not on either of her Folk albums (I’m quite sure it’s already been recorded, just not released. Folk Song Best, anyone?) There were nights where she totally aced it, but she didn’t on this one. Still, this should be a gem for those who missed the concert. =) お楽しみにください!!

Ugh~~ I cannot listen to it from my work’s computer. I will listen tonight when I got home. I’m looking forward to it. Thank you.
You’re very welcome, Patrick. =) That’s another reason to look forward to getting home tonight! =)
Wow!… I just listened to this at work and tried to imagine being there to hear it live. Honestly, it was quite a struggle to hold back tears so I could get through the song without co-workers noticing. Even with Akina’s vocal issues, she delivers every detail of the emotional depth of the song, probably more than the composer imagined.
And… you’re the one who just days ago complained at hearing this two nights in a row? Yes, I know all the details (as I said before, you’re certainly justified) but never forget that moments like these are rare blessings.
BTW… she’s still a cutie, but that school teacher outfit has got to go!
4 nights in a row to be exact. =)
Danny – Since you were there 4 nights in a row, I hope we will be able to read your full details with juice. Quick review was great but we love all the insideful information.
…it recalls some memories of mine…
I really like her performance in this track.
I like Hiroko (Koji Tamaki’s former wife)’s crystal clear version, but Akina’s performance is very touching. Thank you so much for sharing this.
this was definitely the highlight of each night @ the concert. Just like Riverside Hotel was in 2005 Empress. HIroko’s version is nice too. Akina had a more emotional touch in her vocals that i have to agree with chochotte. I was lucky to watch one show which Akina completely “immersed” her emotions into the song that she broke down terribly after the song and was unable to continue with the next song, Velvet Easter.
