another new release??

according to Tower Records Japan, there seems to be a planned release of a BEST album for Akina’s 25th Anniversary in Showbiz , and interestingly, the release date is the same (11th Jan 2006) as the DVD release of the concert…..My guess is that so far, only Tower Records has put this item up for pre-order where the rest of the online shops has yet to put up any info…and this BEST release is under Universal with serial no. UMCK-1200….

we’ll see how it goes…more updates when I get more info from other sites if they put it up…

looks like Akina is all set to burn a hole in all of us on 11th Jan…hehe..

Akina fanboy since 14. Still undecided which are his top ten favourite Akina tracks as it's mission impossible. Digs "Everlasting Love" a whole lot more than the average Akina fan.

  1. Just one disc => can’t be exciting…. I think it’s gonna be similiar to those one-disc best albums released in the 90s…..

  2. If what Tower lists is correct, Hamu is probably right. You’d think there would be something more than that to mark such a milestone.

I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

  3. I don’t usually get her bests unless there are songs in there that I want. If they include all the A-B sides, I might buy it because I only have Days and the two new ones …

  4. I think they were shortlisted for Double Decade. The final song selection was not decided till the very last minute. I remember one of the newspaper including 「十戒」& 「Sand Beige」. I didn’t know about「1/2の神話」though.

Well, it certainly makes this Best more attractive now!

  5. Nice to meet you. It is one of the Japanese Akina fans. I do not understand English well, but, with translation software, will read it. The information of a tower record was incomprehensible Japanese. Japanese is difficult. If different, a position of a punctuation mark is different in a meaning. I misunderstood even Japanese me. I think that collected planned 「初めて出逢った日のように」 is contents the same as a single. Explanation of a tower record explains connection of 「初めて出逢った日のように」 and 「赤い花」. I think that there is not it by saying that a new version is recorded.
