that Best Finger…

The song list for "THE BEST FINGER" is out on HMV Japan as follows:

1 落花流水
2 スローモーション
3 DESIRE-情熱-
4 少女A
8 Days
[Meu amore…]
14 The Heat〜musica fiesta〜

just a little surprised that 華-HANA- was included…maybe Akina really like this song =)

The Heat is included, but not side-B, Siesta.

The rest of the old tracks were all re-recorded for 2005 version. But the release is in 2006…

Whatever it is, still something to look forward to =)

Akina fanboy since 14. Still undecided which are his top ten favourite Akina tracks as it's mission impossible. Digs "Everlasting Love" a whole lot more than the average Akina fan.

  1. where’s I Missed "The Shock", "Dear Friend", "Moonlight Shadow" and "Everlasting Love"? thankfully there’s no "Solitude" haha. all her MCA Victor and GAUSS era songs are clearly missing.

  2. Oh man.. It will be great for her to re-record "I Missed The Shock"… Darn!

I wanna to hear her sing the song again! =)

  3. Don’t get me wrong (I’m still looking forward to checking it out), but why isn’t it a 2-disc set at least? She had more extensive releases than this to mark past milestones.

  4. YAWN. so predictable. same songs as EAST LIVE, 2001 LIVE, TRUE (renewal), and DOUBLE-D.

well, at least the album title is nice… hehehehe – maybe she’s a lesbian icon. am i missing something with her best fingering?

  5. same old numbers… guess she focused on her past No1 hits. According to W(honmono), "Desire (version 2005)" is similar to original version.
As for the "finger", I’m sure Akina and her crew didn’t know its significance in English…. To Japanese, pointing with the third finger does NOT have any negative implication.
Don’t read too deep into the title la…

  6. Soozy, she’s obviously a gay and lesbian icon!! and now she’s affirmed her claim to the pedestal, in the shape of a gold plated finger of course.

  7. After all, she did "host" the Sydney Mardi Gras Parade for Japanese audiences … the one that I danced right in front of her without noticing … Yes, I was blind.
