Still undecided which are his top ten favourite Akina tracks as it's mission impossible. Digs "Everlasting Love" a whole lot more than the average Akina fan. 4 thoughts on “週刊明星 1988年 7/21” Oh. I think I used to own that issue. Leslie and I used to rush to Kinokuniya after school on every Thursday just to check out the new magazines that were out. 週刊明星 was our favourite. There was also the other weekly 女性 magazines and the 月刊明星 and 平凡 magazines, which had those music booklets. Leslie also subscribed to Oricon, so we used to love that too. Since I had little disposable income, I only bought those with singer’s discography and accumulated a huge pile, until I moved to Australia, and my Mum threatened to throw them unless I do something about them. I had to be tough and tore out the bits that I wanted and threw the rest out. Should I send these as reminders of the amount of money that I could be making? Just Kidding. The good bits are all here with me in Oz, so I may have a chance to take some shots after I have moved to our new place and then I can spread out and share. There will no “copyright” laws with my photos then – I happily give them to VAMP. 😉 Reply Jamez, I think I still have some of those little music booklets that came with 月刊明星 and 平凡 magazines (from 1984- 1987) tucked away somewhere in my AV cabinet in my bedroom! I used to get those magazines from the local Mitsukoshi department store. Reply I used to read(look) at all these magazine at my favorite japanese restaurant. I will ask my parents to translate some of the Akina’s news or I guess it myself based on the picture and some chinese charactors, that I understand. Reply I must add that I’m very annoyed by this japan only auction. It seems so obsolete. The world should be OPEN. Huh~~~ Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
