Still undecided which are his top ten favourite Akina tracks as it's mission impossible. Digs "Everlasting Love" a whole lot more than the average Akina fan. 2 thoughts on “Love You Tokyo Remix” Loved it. Love you Tokyo. A tidbit that not many may know. ラブユー東京 is the first No.1 single ever in Oricon history when charts were first introduced on the 4th January 1968. It was the B-side song when it was first released, but they switched it around later. It remained at the pole position for three weeks and sold 32.7万枚. I find it strange that they switch A and B sides when the coupling song becomes more famous than the original single cut. Akina and Momoe never did it, though some of their B-side songs are better, or more popular, especially for the latter, who liked to include her drama and movie theme songs as her B-side songs instead of A. Seiko did it only once, not with ガラスの林檎/Sweet Memories, when shedecided to make it a double A-side. 夏服のイヴ was originally the A-side, but she changed it to 時間の国のアリス, which was a much stronger track, with a different cover. Lastly, did you know that 「BEST AKINA メモワール」 is the first ever No. 1 for the CD chart. Now, that is one record that the sickening Ayu will never touch. Yay! Reply Just to clarify 時間の国のアリス/夏服のイヴ was eventually released as a double A side single. Reply Leave a Reply Cancel reply Enter your comment here...
