お誕生日お目でとう、ウサギさん!

Happy Birthday Danny. I am no artist, computer wiz or musical genius, but I believe I am not too bad as a writer, so this is my present to you.

I believe I speak for many when I say “Thank You” for VAMP. Though our love for Akina has brought us all together, it took a few people like Eugin and you, to tie up our strings of friendship. Friendship should never be judged on length, but rather the intensity and love that we hold for each other, and for that, I am immensely proud to call you one of my dearest friends.

Through your open and fearless communication and being, we are able to express both our love and sometimes disappointment at Akina, fans and many other facets, where many fans fear to tread. We do not seek to criticise for the sake of being nasty but we do sometimes get knocked down because we are misunderstood. We speak openly from the heart because we are hurt and we believe in human beings – both our ability to change and adapt to it. You are prime example of someone who embraces change – an innovator and early adopter that inspires others to follow your example.

I also wanted to add that VAMP makes me proud to be an Akina fan. The good times that we shared when we are in Tokyo watching the two Akina concerts and the fun we had. They will forever remain as highlights of my life, not only because of Akina, but because of the times we all spent together.

Thank you for rekindling our love in Akina and keeping it alive. Though VAMP has been relatively quiet the past few months due to inactivity from the Queen, I believe we can revitalise this through dedicating a week or two to a single or an album where we can share our own experiences, which will make it unique. Hence, we will start with Slow Motion and then move down chronologically (single, album, single …), and it doesn’t have to start with me.

You have given me one of the greatest gifts in life, which is allowing me to be … to talk about my love for Akina and many other singers that I love without feeling any shred of guilt or that someone might judge me for my obsession. So, I wanted you to know what an impact you had, and how much I appreciate you.

Finally, I wish you good health, happiness, prosperity and to be always surrounded by love. Have a wonderful birthday, my dear friend.

  1. Danny – Happy Birthday!

    James – That’s a very speail write-up gift to Danny. Very sweet….

    1. Just saw my comment and not sure what the hell I’m typing. I meant to say ‘very SPECIAL write-up’ sorry.

  2. Hi Patrick,

It was not silly in any way. I thought it was very nice of you to comment.

I wanted to highlight how VAMP has brought so many of us together, and though I have never met you in person, we have bonded so well over this platform. I was wondering as well if anyone had the same experience as myself and wanted to highlight my best thanks to Danny and everyone else who made this possible.

Danny is a very special friend and so are many of the VAMPires and friends of Vampires, though most of us are usually named friends of Dorothy instead most of the time. 😉

Akina has brought us together and we live our own separate lives, and it is wonderful to know that we can all come together, even if we don’t need to meet in person, to share, to love and to care.

This is more than what many of my friends that I would consider rather close in proximity would ever do for me. So, Thank you to Danny and Eugin for bringing us all together.

    1. Absolutely, Thanks to Danny and everyone involved with VAMP.

I had been a LONELY fan of Akina for almost 20 years. Suddenly, VAMP brought me back to what I missed in the past. An english platform for Akina fan is million times more valuable than any boxset by Akina. 🙂

It is also amazing to learn some other similarity taste in others as well.
