Here are some of the highlights from the DVD video. Loads of gorgeous blooms superimposed with candid behind-the-scenes footage.
The 3-minute video shows Akina striking poses outdoors (in two different outfits, both which we’ve already seen her wearing during NHK SONGS; Miss Una Tierra is very environmental friendly haha!) and pulling a few goofy expressions and smiles. There were also shots of her clad in her now familiar AERO top in the same recording studio where she recorded “Rojo –Tierra–” prompting the question if FIXER was recorded round about the same time as “Rojo -Tierra-” in 2014.
One interesting observation – the main images we’ve seen when the album was announced (the one of her looking really fierce (like she could eat a tiger or something) and the other one of her with the white sash being used for the album cover) which we had initially thought were frames from the DVD video are no where to be seen. That black and white dress didn’t make an appearance in the video.
The video is more of a casual home video/screensaver/slideshow rather than a professional music video. Manage your expectations and you’ll survive it unscathed. Haha!
These are the prettiest frames I found throughout the video. I’m also happy that there are quality background images of the flowers which I can now use to create visuals for this website. Yay. We need huge quality images for this fully responsive website now and there’s a serious lack of big clear digital images of Akina online.
Above all, I am very thankful and appreciate seeing Akina smiling and being upbeat in the video. 🙂
